Building Management System (BMS)
Expansion Joint (Floor, wall and Calling, Car park, Cover Joint Profiles)
An expansion joint or movement joint is an assembly designed to safely absorb the heat-induced expansion and contraction of construction materials, to absorb vibration, to hold parts together, or to allow movement due to ground settlement or earthquakes. They are commonly found between sections of buildings, bridges, sidewalks, railway tracks, piping systems, ships, and other structures.
Building faces, concrete slabs, and pipelines expand and contract due to warming and cooling from seasonal variation, or due to other heat sources. Before expansion joint gaps were built into these structures, they would crack under the stress induced.
Aesthetics, innovation and durability are the hallmark of floor, wall, ceiling and roof joint cover systems. Engineered systems include features that are compliant, fire-rated, no-bump and heavy-load designs capable of thermal, seismic and wind-sway movement.
High performance joint sealing systems designed to meet the rigorous demands of parking structures, stadiums and other open-air structures. Engineered options include systems that are waterproof, fire-rated, compliant, and capable of thermal, shear and seismic movement.
External covers should be used to protect the internal bellows from being damaged. They also serve a purpose as insulation of the bellows. Covers can either be designed as removable or permanent accessories.
Expansion Joint for bridge :
designed to allow for continuous traffic between structures while accommodating movement, shrinkage, and temperature variations on reinforced and prestressed concrete, composite, and steel structures. They stop the bridge from bending out of place in extreme conditions, and also allow enough vertical movement to permit bearing replacement without the need to dismantle the bridge expansion joint.
Decoration & Trim Profiles :
Ceramic Corner and End Bit Profiles, Corner Guard Profiles, Stair Nosing Profiles, Ceramic Bordure and Trim Profiles, Cover Trim Profiles, Hard & Elastic PVC skirting’s, Bathtub Profiles, Carpet & Parquet Profiles, Aluminum skirting’s, Ceramic Bordure and Trim Profiles, Corner Guard Profiles.
The flooring tiles would be deformed due to thermal expansion and various reasons. Movement joints are needed to absorb energy that can be between structure and the tile because of differing amounts of expansion. The movement joints and control joint profiles of stainless steel series offer functional and long-life solutions for all movement joints in tile and ceramic coverings. Our movement joints are installed when tile covering… Our offers wide range of movement joint profiles in stainless steel, aluminum and PVC are available. Our series suitable for application with marble, ceramics, terrazzo, stone and other similar materials.
HYDROFLEX Dilatation Tape Highly elastic elastomer is used in the insulation of expansion joint gaps, large cracks, and thermal gaps on every type of buildings. It is used for foundations and certain walls, waste water treatment plants, water tanks, tunnels and concrete pipes. It is resistant to UV light and external weather conditions, good performance between wide temperature values.
It is an HYDROFLEX120 Champers Tape (Thermo plastic elastomer& polyester mesh) that is used for isolation of critical point on constructions. It is used for wet areas as bathrooms, toilets, watertight constructions, roofs and parapets. The inside and outside corner details of the product are also provided.
