PROJECT PLANNING · MANUFACTURING IN TÜRKIYE · REGIONAL EXECUTION
An international ITS shipment should be organised so that site teams can relate each package to its intended installation. The practical challenge is preserving the connection between an equipment identifier, its documents and its destination within the project.
What to prepare for the project review
- Use matching references on equipment schedules and package records.
- Group installation information by the areas in which it will be used.
- Confirm documentation and delivery responsibilities with the project logistics team.
Coordinate the decisions before release
Bring together the road owner, civil contractor, electrical team and operating team before the package is released. Each group should review the same junction or location schedule. Mark open questions separately so a preliminary allowance is not mistaken for an approved design decision.
The practical project deliverable
A package index with clear references helps the receiving team identify what has arrived and what remains outstanding.
